Sightless Naga

Spore Naga - Concept Art | AZ Kubicki
8.5 x 9.5, digital. 2019.

Creature concept. The Sightless Naga, which resides deep underground and far from sunlight, senses its prey using pit organs along its snout – similar to those found on terrestrial pythons and vipers. Specialized structures found on its chest, head crest, and vestigial arms radiate toxic spores. Its fan-like tail is used to direct the airflow of spores towards its target, which paralyze and debilitate the naga’s soon-to-be meal.
